We are always in need of various supplies. Please click HERE to see our current wish list. If you have items you would like to donate directly, please use the info on our contact page to make arrangements for us to pick them up. You can also donate using AmazonSmile.
We rely on the donations of fellow animal lovers in order to operate. We spend a lot of money on food and vet bills for all the animals! You can donate money to our PayPal account by clicking (Sorry! Link is broken). Checks can be mailed to our P.O. Box.
If you shop at Kroger, you can earn Community Rewards for A Critter's Chance each time you shop! All you have to do is click HERE, enroll your Kroger Plus card, search for A Critter's Chance or use our NPO number, which is 70968, and choose us as the organization to receive Community Rewards. After doing this, each time you use your Kroger Plus card, A Critter's Chance will receive rewards. These funds will go for vetting and supplies to care for the animals we rescue. This is a very simple way to help us help the animals!
By donating regularly, you provide continued needed financial support for caring for both our adoptable animals and residents. You can find out more on our Patreon page.
There are many ways to volunteer with us! You can start with filling out our Volunteer Application HERE.
Like talking about animals? Educating the public on proper animal care is a major part of our mission. It's a great way to help out if you are limited on time and/or unable to foster animals in your home. We would love to expand our school programs as well.
Several volunteers keep farm animals like pigs, chickens, horses, etc that need to be fed and cleaned daily. If you like mucking stalls, planting/shoveling, mending fences, or doing small construction projects, we can definitely use your help! You can help in Avon, Brownsburg, or Martinsville.
Many of our animals live in foster homes, where they can get the daily care and socialization that they need until they find a forever home. We often have to turn away animals due to a lack of space, and specifically need more fosters for rabbits, guinea pigs, aquatic turtles, and pigs. While we try to provide the majority of habitats, food and supplies, this can sometime require a monetary contribution on your part.
As one of the few exotic rescues in the state, we often get calls to accept animals from several hours away. Likewise, adopters who don't want to support the pet trade often contact us from surrounding states. If you like to be on the road, this may be a great fit for you!
