We are often at capacity and strongly encourage you to keep the animal if you can provide for its basic needs. 

We are available to help with advice on care and may be able to direct you to resources for food and supplies, if needed.

The House Rabbit Society has lots of information about rabbit care. 


The Indianapolis Zoo explains the difference between turtles and tortoises. The Indiana Dept. of Natural Resources explains why turtles may not be a good choice as pets for your family.
